I have been building businesses since I was 16 and since 2020 I went full in on building. Previously, I had a career as marketing and growth lead for a variety of startups. During my previous ventures I wanted to 'do more' on LinkedIn and never pulled the trigger or got priortised until I hired an agency to work on my personal brand. It wasnt a successful experience and after having the opportnity to exit my previous venture I turned to one of my closest friends, Harry, to create Shake and bring our collected decades of marketing and growth experience into building something special.

Across every role, one thing consistently sat at the core of our strategy: great copy.This became especially clear in B2B, where content is often bland and LinkedIn remains an underused opportunity. After years of freelancing with James’s previous business, we decided to launch Shake Content in early 2024 - helping B2B organisations turn LinkedIn into a marketing channel that actually delivers.
